The South Coast Writers Conference

An intimate, eclectic conference held every Presidents’ Day weekend in Gold Beach on the beautiful Oregon coast. This conference brings in some of the best writers of the Pacific Northwest to teach writing workshops over two days, covering everything from songwriting to poetry, and scripts to memoirs and mystery novels.  Sitting in the center of Gold Beach on the southern coast of Oregon, this gem is the second largest used bookstore in the state (behind only Powell’s in Portland), and the largest used bookstore on the coast between San Francisco and Seattle. It boasts more than 75,000 volumes, including an exquisite of rare books on the second floor.
